Teen Living Centers In Davis School District

 By Elsa Paul , September ?? 2024

In the Davis school district, many teens don’t have a place to sleep for the night. These students have a hard time concentrating in school, with no comfortable place to lay their heads at night.

The homeless students of the Davis school district resort to sleeping in their cars, or in public sheds and park benches. The Davis school district already has a day center for these students, but these day centers still don’t give the students a place to sleep.

The Davis school district decided that the best way to help these students is to give them a good place to rest at night, and so they have founded a teen living center to help these students facing homelessness. This living center is located on N Fort Lane and is available to all students in the Davis school district that need it.

A student living center is essential for the rising number of homeless students in Utah, and may help students a lot throughout the years, and also improve the school’s overall grade-point average.
