Trump Offends Locals All Over The World in Press Conference
Trump speaks about Greenland and the Panama Canal in a recent press conference

President Trump’s recent press conference in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, offends multiple countries including Greenland, Panama, Mexico, and Canada.
He repeatedly calls Canada the 51st state, mentions a plan to takeover Greenland, which he then refuses to rule out using military force, says he will rename the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America”, and demands Panama give back the Panama Canal.
This resulted in many negative comments from the people in power in these countries.
Although Trump says he will not use military force to take Canada, he has threatened to use economic force. Dominic Leblanc, who oversees U.S-Canda relations, makes many negative comments around this.
“It’s becoming very counterproductive,” LeBlanc said, referring to Trump’s rhetoric about Canada.
Liberal lawmaker, Judy Sgro, when asked about Trump’s comments says, “He should focus on his own issues in his own country, because he’s got lots of them.”
Canada immigrant and East high parent Alec McGinn, says “This is just Donald Trump being provocative. Canada is facing some real challenges, but it is very unlikely that the solution will be joining the United States.”
Pipaluk Linge, an MP from Greenland’s largest party and chair of the parliamentary foreign and security policy committee, told news sites that Greenland wants “our own independence and democracy,”.
But Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. Says locals were supportive of a “U.S takeover” during his visit to Greenland soon after the press conference.
In response to Trump’s comments about the new name for the Gulf of Mexico, Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum said she has a new name for the United States, “Mexican America.”
"The fact is that Mexican America is recognized since the 17th century... as the name for the whole northern part of the (American) continent," she further explains.
Panama Canal had their fair share too. Panama Canal’s C.E.O says that the end of Carter neutrality treaty means chaos, while denying Trump’s claims that the canal is controlled by China.
Donald Trump Jr. then brings Ukraine into this, tweeting “Oh look of course The LA fire department donated a bunch of their supplies to Ukraine,” in response to the fire in L.A.”
The department donated medical supplies, boots, hosses, nozzles, and body armor in 2022.
Although were not sure quite yet if these things will happen, many countries are now cautious of America’s new president.
Trump has also recently made threats towards Hamas about returning captives in Gaza.
