Checking up on your Mental Health
It’s important to know that depression has been prevalant in adolescents younger than 17 throughout 2024. We’ve already finished a semester of classes which for many have been exhausting and hard for many, here are some suggestions to take a break!
Take a walk around the park or neighborhood
Napping until you’re confused if it’s morning or night
Treat yourself with a comfy meal or a nice little snack
Listening to your favorite songs
Scratch and scribble on paper
Understand that progression is not linear at all, and these and other activities may not change anything but remember that you’re trying your hardest in getting through tough days and little steps are better than none.
